1. Is your company properly incorporated, with statutory registrations (PAN, GST if applicable, and ROC filings) up to date?
2. Do all founders have a written founders' agreement covering equity, vesting, and roles?
3. Has all intellectual property created for the business (code, brand, content) been formally assigned to the company?
4. Do you use written contracts for your major customers, vendors, and contractors, rather than verbal or email-only agreements?
5. Does your company track statutory compliance deadlines (ROC filings, tax, labour law) on a calendar?
6. If you have employees or contractors, do you have written employment or consulting agreements in place?
7. Have your key commercial contracts been reviewed by a lawyer in the last 12 months?
8. If you've raised funding or plan to, do you have clean cap table records and shareholder documentation?
9. If you collect any customer or user data, do you have a basic data privacy or confidentiality policy?
10. If a dispute arose with a co-founder, customer, or vendor tomorrow, do you know what your contracts say about resolving it?
